Alternative Renewable Energy
The population of this planet is on the rise speedily. More and more economies are being developed. The use for electricity is greatly influenced by both of these factors. Today, this electricity need is still being met with non-renewable energy sources. Burning non-renewable sources of energy , however, is harmful to our planet and most importantly our well-being. That is why the search is on for alternative renewable energy sources. Our fossil fuel consumption comes with undesirable side effects, namely global warming, acid rain and smog.
For a long time nuclear power was believed to be the answer to our energy dilemma. Nuclear Power, however, also has some inherent drawbacks linked to it.
At this moment in time, renewable alternative energy forms are being considered as the greenest alternative to nuclear power and fossil fuels. Given all potential types of renewable energy power the three that are the furthest researched ones are solar, wind power and marine energy.
Using solar power means to use the power that is contained within the sun light. Wind energy technology uses wind turbines to generate electrical power. Marine technology uses the waves and tides to make electricity. These days consuming fossil fuels is still a major part of our power generation process even though there are many alternative renewable energy alternatives that are already available.

When using wind turbines to produce electricity no green house gases are released into the environment. Our nation can harness enough power from wind power to satisfy all our energy needs.
